Carrying Sleeve for SkyRaider Netbook Kit

As I said in my 2/16/2016 blog, the MallinCam SkyRaider Netbook Kit ($299) is a great way to get into Video Astronomy.  For a complete portable go-anywhere setup I added a small USB mouse and a mini-HDMI to HDMI 6’ cable.  I can take this to anyone’s telescope to convert it to a Video Astronomy setup, and even connect it to a HD TV if one is available.

But how best to carry it?  My first thought was to get out my Incase carrying pouch I purchased awhile back for my old iPad.  I can easily put everything in this small, easy to carry pouch.

As I started to write this post I tried to look up where to get this carrying pouch, but could not find it anywhere.  I include it in this post in case you can find it, or one similar to it.
 
Then I went to Best Buy and bought an Incase Sleeve for a 13” MacBook that is currently available.  Again I put everything in this small (only slightly larger), easy to carry pouch.

Here is where everything goes it it.  It comes with a shoulder strap that might be useful when your hands are carrying other stuff.

This is something I know is currently available that works.  It could also accommodate a small focus mask and a 0.5x reducer as well.


Either of these cases make the SkyRaider Netbook Kit easy to carry anywhere! You may be able to find something like this that works even better for you.
